This course delivers the essential principles, knowledge and skills needed to maintain breathing and circulation of adults, children and infants during emergency situations.

The course covers:

  • Casualty assessment
  • Emergency action principles - DRABCD
  • External cardiac compression (CPR)
  • Recovery position

Accreditation:

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will obtain a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment and SLSWA Resuscitation Certificate in the following units of competence:

  • HLTCPR201A Perform CPR

Validity:

CPR certificate is valid for 12 months.
