Remote Area First Aid is designed for people working or travelling in remote areas. This course will equip them with the knowledge and skills to respond to a medical emergency in a remote or isolated area where delivery of a casualty to an established medical facility could be delayed.

After successfully completing the training, participants will obtain a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in the unit of competence:

Validity:
Remote Area First Aid is valid for 3 years. It is a recommendation of the Australian Resuscitation Council that the CPR component be updated every 12 months.
